monday blues!~ + taboo! :D

i really have no idea why is it so dead today, but it seems so quiet to me. and yeah. had MOB taboo game today.

Taboo Card Game

first round of the taboo, we guessed 8 correct cards in 5mins, but 8 of them “wrong/passed” cards! gahh 8-8=0 oh crap!

second round, we guessed 24 of them correctly in 7 mins, great improvement, and got only 3 of them “wrong” as the rules have changed, no longer need to minus the passed cards!

going to have the second round which is the actual one on thursday! :D

haha! thats for the day, was pretty boring and dry day, but at least had some fun games in class! :D

like it! :D now going down to have a new haircut, hopefully no more bangs. hahas.

Google Nexus One! :)

Nexus One

Nexus One

Cool phone yeah? I seemed to be really mesmerized by this uber cool phone! Plus, its from Google, HTC, and the OS in it is powered by the latest version of Android! :)

The whole phone from the exterior design, its thin, sleek with cool curve edge that makes the whole phone really wow-ed itself. The Nexus One has a trackball just below those buttons that should feel very familiar to Hero users.

Wow! so its time for me to purchase one right? haha!

GoogleNexusOne

GoogleNexusOne Webpage!

Although it has many complains by users, which has been highlighted by people:

Google has come under fire since the launch of the Nexus One after hundreds of messages were posted with complaints or questions about the phone. Many customers said that after calling T-Mobile they were referred to HTC, the phone’s maker, or the reverse. Google does not have a customer-service phone line, and customers sending e-mails were being told to wait one or two days for a reply.

In response to queries from people having problems ordering, Google also posted a message saying that it has had a problem with orders from some countries. More than 450 messages in one topic describe how some customers have ordered the phone but even after days have not received a confirmation of their order. “Our system choked on a certain number of Singapore and Hong Kong addresses and they’ve been held until we could fix the issue. We’ve worked these kinks out and things should be smoother from now on,” wrote Google employee “Ry Guy” in response to those queries.

Google also acknowledged an issue that some people say they have with their phone maintaining a 3G connection. While T-Mobile has already said it is looking into the issue, Google late on Thursday posted to the forum that it is investigating the issue. “Also, just definitely be aware that if this issue can be solved by a software fix it will be addressed on an over-the-air systems update. If we find this is the result of a hardware issue, it’ll be covered by the Nexus One Warranty,” Google employee Ravi wrote.

The 2010 Nee Soon South countdown concert sets the stage to offer 10,000 Singaporeans a platform to bond and celebrate the 2010. Sparkle On Nee Soon South (NSS) is a not-for-profit concert showcasing the best of local talent held on December 31, 2009, from 8.30pm – 12.30am, at the open field opposite Khatib MRT station.

This year, the organizers have decided to waive all entrance charges and participants can attend the designed-by-community-for-community concert for free.

“We know that Singaporeans have been through a lot this year, and we want them to enjoy the Countdown. We want spread a message of hope for a better year ahead. We have decided to keep this year’s countdown concert free, so that Singaporeans can enjoy a night of quality entertainment and bring along with them their family and friends without having to worry about ticketing fees” said Er. Lee Bee Wah, Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC and Advisor to Nee Soon South Grassroots Organisations.

The event aims to deliver a message of Hope, a notion that resonates with Singaporeans can relate to because of the improving economy and H1N1 situation over the year.

The Concert will take on a ‘made-in-Singapore’ concept and will feature the best of Singapore’s talents. Audiences can expect familiar local artistes that will join them as they enter into 2010 together.

Building on the success of the inaugural concert last year, Sparkle On NSS continues to encourage stronger family and community bonds. The event attracted over 8,000 participants last year, including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong who joined the crowd in counting down to the New Year.

rantings about idiotic people.

(okay, i know that im not how smart either, but read it and you will understand)

Rantings…

i’m really pissed today, firstly, don’t ever think that i’m easily cheated, defeated or will give in to you always, do not take it for granted. bear this in mind.

went to the bank today to cash out some money, guess what? while i was lining up, these selfish people, would just walk to the place they want, convenient for them, and just right infront of me, and will just say, excuse me! wth. you think just by saying excuse me will work? maybe its normal to give way, so i did.

and some, the worse case of all, they don’t say excuse me, they will squeeze thru’ it to get to the other side. what is this? is that what your parents, teachers, or even ancestors teach you? no freaking manners. and if i dont give way, i think the lady infront will think that i touched her or something.

its not only aunties who do it, its freaking grown ups, and kids. lets not blame the aunties and kids. freaking grown ups, please use your freaking brains.

now, till the climax that hit the roof of mine, you know this? and they actually gave me some lousy customer service, waiting for so long.

YES. i had used my freaking brains, thinking that they might respond, since they responded to the rest, and thinking it this way, so i tweeted on twitter, and thinking that they will respond to my tweets. so foolishly waited, and no responses after a week.

so i called them up, everytime, i will have to wait…. previously, i called them up to activate a service, so i have to call them right? there is no other way to do that. so waited, and wasted my time. in the end, luckily, i got a pleasant guy who picked up that call, and resolve my issue, otherwise, he will sure to get it from me.

then today, was a lady who seems to be blur, by saying, “erm, ah, oh”. like that? so every moment when i was on the phone, i was like. “gahhhhhh!” angry! so yeah, then i was really pissed off, and started complaining big time on the phone about the bills.

one more time if they do this, i might just simply switch to the other corals.
