SALT - Angelina Jolie

Who is SALT? – Angelina Jolie

SALT Synopsis: As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who Is Salt?”–© Sony

My review: Salt the movie is worth watching, as it doesn’t pause for breath as it delivers juicy espionage, mystery and superb thriller entertainment! However, the movie has too much of digital animation effects which made her acting look too fake. That should be reduced to make it a perfect movie. Overall, the movie was great, and entertaining!

Review on inSing.com: Angelina is always this cool for these types of action movies! But i expected more in this compared to Tomb Raider.. Storyline is making me crazy, until now it still keep me thinking.. One thing i cant agree, how come it seems so easy to just ‘grab and go’ things anywhere she went.. haha.. (haha! Which i also agreed on! She grabs things like nobody’s business!)

Anyway! Do visit inSing.com and book your cheaper GV tickets straight from there! :D

Thank you inSing.com and nuffnang!

First day in school for Year 2!

haha! School has resumed, holidays are over! :(

Somehow sad, with mixed feelings.
Excited to gather with my year 1 classmates (DBF/04), but not very excited to meet my new classmates. worried that the class might be separated somehow.

Had RWPS early in the morning. OMG. Got to crack my brains early in the morning?

After RWPS, we went to buy notes for FF and FA, then got (sarbo-ed) appointed by the class to collect the money and be the treasurer. LOL! indeed (sarbo right?) =X

Next up, FF, was quite a okay lecture.

Woah! FA lecturer was very strict, but she seems to be cool and can teach really well like what Mr Philip said.

Spent the break with 04 guys, and yeah. back for FF tutorial. Then elections begin. Who’s the class rep? No one? Appoint one! *all shouts* with flying arrows ——-> “hits me as the target”. LOL! Thats how a got a role from nobody to somebody. LOL! JOKING.

At 7pm, went to Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games HQ at 1, Kay Siang Rd for CEP Seminar Appreciation Dinner. The place wasn’t easy to find, but at least. I got there.

Went around and interacted with the YOG Staff, Volunteers, and also the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of YOG! :D Got a certificate for participating in the Culture & Education Programme (CEP) Seminar. See the post I made that time when the IOC President came. :)

That’s all! Till next time! :D

CAPS on the number of athletes from each National Olympic Committee, and an emphasis on educational activities, have led to concerns that the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) will be more about fun than serious competition.

But International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge spoke out on the issue for the first time yesterday, defending the concept behind his brainchild.

‘This is not a mini-Olympic Games and this is not a Junior World Championship,’ the Belgian, who is in Singapore until tomorrow, told The Straits Times.

The Games are about a good combination of sport and education.

‘The youngsters are going to be able to have athletics at the highest level, and there will be time for fun and leisure, and there will be time for education.’

Culture and Education Programme activities, which have been planned for the 3,600 teenagers competing at the Aug 14-26 YOG, include workshops and forums on issues such as how to live a healthy lifestyle, and visits to venues like the Marina Barrage to learn about Singapore’s water conservation methods.

IOC President Jacques Rogge visits Singapore

SINGAPORE: International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge is confident Singapore will deliver a great Youth Olympic Games come August.

The IOC chief is in the island-state for a three-day visit to check on the Games progress, which he said has been immense.

The IOC chief has a packed schedule in Singapore.

After arriving on Monday, Mr Rogge visited the Bishan Stadium, venue for the Youth Olympic Games’ athletics programme.

The facility has undergone major renovations to be up to speed for the track and field events.

Next, the IOC president made his way to the Marina Barrage, one of the venues for the Culture and Education Programme.

Mr Rogge ended the day with a visit to the Games Village in the National Technological University (NTU), where renovation works are set to be completed by end-May.

He also had a dialogue session with some 150 tertiary students.

“I saw wonderful venues, I saw a fantastic Olympic Village here at University and I had a very nice question and answer and debate with youngsters with some very interesting questions,” said the IOC chief.

“I was here last in April 2008, so that is already two years ago, and the progress is immense, you will be ready by the Games time.”

In conjunction with the his visit to Singapore, the IOC on Tuesday launched the Young Ambassador Programme.

Under the programme, 30 young people have been nominated by their National Olympic Committees to promote the Games in their respective countries and also assist the athletes during the Games.

On Wednesday, Mr Rogge will call on Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and give the media an overview of his latest trip to Singapore.

i really have no idea why is it so dead today, but it seems so quiet to me. and yeah. had MOB taboo game today.

Taboo Card Game

first round of the taboo, we guessed 8 correct cards in 5mins, but 8 of them “wrong/passed” cards! gahh 8-8=0 oh crap!

second round, we guessed 24 of them correctly in 7 mins, great improvement, and got only 3 of them “wrong” as the rules have changed, no longer need to minus the passed cards!

going to have the second round which is the actual one on thursday! :D

haha! thats for the day, was pretty boring and dry day, but at least had some fun games in class! :D
