the english paper crapped me out since it was quite difficult and the stupid alignment was wrong, and mr koa was kind enough to give us one min. where else the other teachers wasted so much time and didnt give extra time for us to complete the paper.

further more there are so many errors that we needed to correct, so we should be given more time, i rushed through my summary just because of that. NO INSERT? thats why its hard to refer. and the instructions were wrong. everything was screwed up. all the way from the alignment to the printing itself. the question number also restarted? omg.

and yeah, screwed up english paper from CHR. grrr. no choice. so TERENCE, stop grumbling. and work on your chinese.

anyway, my chinese will be confirm screwed, since i cannot even write a single chinese word properly. zzz. made me sian. im crossing my fingers and hope that i wont fail my paper.

you know what? i just saw a website that shows that you can really reach in and touch the inside of the cow. sadded. my moo moo got an extra hole for humans to play with their stomach. grr.

Reach in and touch the inner cow

As weird as this may sound, I mean literally reach in and touch the inside of the cow!

In case you didn’t know animals can live perfectly well with a permanent hole in their stomachs. Scientists call these surgically made holes, fistulas, which are covered by a canulla, a sort of cover from the outside world. They are used to test the digestibility of various cattle food, the cows are fed and as the food passes through her stomachs, scientist can just reach in and see how it is processed. As brutal as it might look, this doesn’t hurt the animals at all, it actually prolongs their life, in case of stomach disease, they can receive helping medicine directly in there.

The one thing I don’t approve of is people sticking their hand in animals just out of curiosity, like the kid in our photo. Sure it’s not something you’d call ordinary, but turning a medical procedure into a circus isn’t very ethical.

in short the following series of lapses account for the great escape:

1 ) non-operational enhanced cctv system pending commissioning (in the process of enhancing the cctv system to increase security, they inadvertently disable it rendering zero cctv surveillance, how ironic)
2 ) window without grilles (also without handle thanks to the bright idea of the high-ranking superintendent with rank equivalent to a Lieutenant-Colonel of SAF according to Mr Wong)
3 ) various guards on various occasions allowing Mas to close door in cubicle when it seems that they are not supposed to let him do so. (this allows him to conduct rehearsals n test them n test the waters b4 the fateful escape, n test the waters he did - the guard was duped by the sound of running tap-water while Mas happily made his escape)
4 ) guard 1 failing to kick door but went out inform guard 2
5 ) guard 2 failing to go in n kick door but go n inform female duty operative
6 ) female duty operative failling to ask guards to go kick door but go n ask male case officer.
7 ) take 4 hours to inform public of escape
8 ) take 2 days to release the additional photos.
9 ) take 4 days to give more details about the limping.
10 ) take 6 days to release the clothes that he was wearing.
11 ) take 7 days to release the mole on this face.

Suggestion: The ISD should have gotten experienced/senior ISD officer and not a noob junior ISD officer to do the job. Even with that, what are the two Gurkha guards and the Special Duty Operative (SDO) doing? Also unalert?

Could Mas Selamat have secured help after his escape?
Mr Wong said: ‘While there is no intelligence to confirm this, the possibility cannot be dismissed and is indeed a scenario pursued by ISD even now.’

Officers responsible to be disciplined, penalised

He, however, said that officers responsible for the escape will be disciplined and penalised.

Mr Wong said this will include those at the junior officer level, all the way up the chain of command to the supervisory and management levels of the detention centre.

‘There is a proper process for disciplinary action under the Civil Service or Police Force rules and this must take its course.’

The minister said the Commissioner of Police and the director of the Internal Security Department (ISD) have also been told to replace all the WRDC officers - as identified in the Committee of Inquiry report - who were responsible for Mas Selamat’s escape.

No criminal charges against anyone: CID chief

Responding to media queries on the CID investigation, its Director Ng Boon Gay said in a statement on Monday: ‘The escape was the result of the combination of several factors which were not in the control of any one individual.’

‘In addition, there was no direct causation by any of the staff that resulted in the escape of Mas Selamat Kastari that constituted an offence of criminal negligence.’

‘Furthermore, none of the staff had deliberately omitted to take any action which would otherwise have prevented the escape of Mas Selamat.’

He said that on completion of the investigation, CID consulted the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) on the case.

‘AGC has considered the investigation papers and concluded that there is no basis to lay criminal charges under the Penal Code against any particular individual.’

But Mr Wong said this does not mean that no departmental disciplinary will be taken against the officers accountable for the lapse.

He has asked the Commissioner of Police and ISD Director to investigate the operational lapses realted to the escape and to ascertain accountabilities.

today is special.

and yes. same for everyday, since its a new day everyday.

let me start. in the morning, ms foo addressed the school, and omg, she started talking about the teachers who stroll in late for morning assembly. was like gosh. infront of the other students. i am really shocked. and she wanted the teachers to follow the suit, to come down when the next bell rings. and omg. then, she called the teachers all to go up for a meeting.

yeah. with regards to the mic problem, not that i do not want to go up and help, i’m sure no one blogged about it, but yeah. i still have to let people know about it.

1. its time when i should let go and its your turn. i have help out too much till i negleted my studies at one period of time. so people, i’m not concern if you hate me or not, but the true thing is, please do not OVER do your duties, one week should be enough, at the most two weeks. thats the MAX. otherwise, this would result in problems when you have many AV/PA duties to handle.

2. now. yeah. i havent announced anything yet about me stepping down. so now yes. im pretty tired, and not about that personal interest, the school policy is that all sec 4s step down in April, and yeah, as soon as i wished, so that the sec 3s can start working on AV/PA club’s bonding and relations, between members and the committee.

so, i will publicly announce my vote. just a note: Please do note that if any of them do not want the position, please inform Mr Tay and he will just change over to someone else.

3) Secretary - Hueyshin (next suitable candidate: Felicia)

and yes. went out to library to study, and managed to complete my geography worksheet, 3.1 and 3.2. and a extra bit of Kingsway, which i did since i felt bored, and a POA worksheet. with regards to the POA worksheet, i do not want to insult anyone, but i feel that other school’s POA worksheet and standard is so different, and more difficult, i was with jieying in the library, and she passed me her file, i looked through her worksheet, and i was stunned. omg. so different. since she need me to teach her that worksheet, i tried doing, and yeah, with so help from the POA file, i managed to do it. but if i cannot “twist” my brain to think it the other way, i would have just been stuck with that question.

thats all people. im tired. sorry.

in the morning, went to school as per normal. then went over back to class and did the normal stuffs.
then after was prize presentation, and okay, went up and take the award. lol. i have already receive it that day. so now. i re-receive it? lol. kinda funny, but cool!

then after was ss, mdm kan came in. asking us to pass up the previous assignments. and gave us a worksheet to complete. and yes. i completed it on the spot, since im frigging lazy to bring it home and do. and not only that. i wont study much at home, as my computer addicts me.

after that was chinese, we did re men hua ti again. zz. thats about it.

then after was english. mrs ramesh came in asked us to complete that information sheet, luckily i completed it yesterday in the library. and i was chiong-ing corrections all the way. since im rather free there, and mrs ramesh wanted us to do corrections. for the corrections, only hsien ern and i did it. others was like no time to do it? so means im super free, so no way. i better keep myself busy and occupied with stuffs.

then was recess, wanted to give yee tat a surprise, but in the end. zz. FAILED. as firstly, he open the present and he said. chey. im not going to get shock again. cos he also have one as birthday present, it was supposed to shock him. grr.then nvm. in the end, xin hao played with it.

then was chemistry. and mr lee went through the worksheet. and nothing much there.

POA! wah. big thing. mr tien was our new millionaire. lol. zz. thats my saying. zz. and the millionaire was so called late? and we were inside the classroom with mr tien. and then the millionaire came, then mr tien and the millionaire had a “small fight”, i mean quarrel with words? without the fire coming out. cos we in class marhs, so dun dare show rage.

and then left and went to eat.
after then was remedial. remedial was like zz. and okay. then it ended.
